What the Critics are saying..

"I really enjoyed the pottery class because we got to be very creative while making our projects. I learned new techniques of working with clay which was exciting. The teacher was awesome and I can’t wait to take another class!"

Ceramics Class: "My daughter Phoebe LOVED the ceramics class taught by Kathleen. She had the opportunity to use her imagination and hands, working with clay and glaze to create some amazing and beautiful pieces. A friend even offered to purchase one of the pieces, they liked it so much (we kindly declined because we liked it too!)"

"Patricia is a patient and helpful instructor and her class was very informative and easy-going. My daughter felt comfortable in the class, and likened it to being at an aunt's home. She enjoyed her time with her fellow students and learned basic skills in stitching and working the sewing machine. Grateful to EVAC that the class was accessible for my daughter and the community."

Parent of Student, Juliana Sankaran-Felix in Fall 2017

"Your commitment and dedication to the arts is truly commendable and highly appreciated.  By promoting diversity and inclusivity through art and art education, you have created a more vibrant community along the Los Angeles River.  On behalf of the 51st Assembly District, congratulations on all your accomplishments & best of luck on your future endeavors.

Assembly Member, Jimmy Gomez in 2016

Furniture Building Class: "What a great experience to get to work with wood and tools and paint to build a beautiful piece of furniture that is in our kitchen today. Karine was patient, teaching them to sand, build, use screw guns and other tools and paints and really helped guide the kids to be real furniture makers. We are very proud."
