Holiday Open House at The Blake Lofts

Join us on December 9, 2023 (4-8pm) for our Holiday Open  House at our headquarters in the Community Room at The Blake Lofts in  Frogtown.  

Enjoy some treats, sip some drinks, view some art and crafts by several of our artist members and local craftpersons. Live music by jazz pianist Dan West. Strike a pose at our holiday-themed photo booth. Bring your pups for a photo too, we are dog-friendly on our patio. 

Indulge your creative side with a mosaic workshop lead by  our artist-in-residence Katrina Alexy. Make a beautiful mosaic candle holder and gift it to a loved one or create a greeting card at our card-making station. 

Participate in our annual food drive benefiting Northeast Los Angeles Mercadito. We encourage you to bring canned and non-perishable food items to this event. We will collect and deliver food to NELA Mercadito for the holidays;  a bi-weekly food distributiuon center for our Frogtown neighbors in need located at the Elysian Valley Community Garden.   

Enter  the Community Room from the LA River Bike and Pedestrian Path side of the building. No entrance from the front of the building. Nearest  streets to enter the path are Knox Ave and Newell Street from the North  and Dallas Street from the South. Look for our signs and decorations on the path.
