Postmarked With Love - A Card Making and Rose Crafting Workshop for Marked by COVID and Rose River Memorial
Time & Location
About the Event
The importance of art during difficult times has never been more clear. To make, to share, to remember. Join Elysian Valley Arts Collective, Marked By COVID and Rose River Memorial, along with artist and teacher Kait Walsh, for an afternoon of creativity to honor all of the individual lives lost from COVID-19. This 1-1/2 hour virtual workshop will include inspiration and support in the creation of handmade cards for grieving families to be distributed by Marked By COVID and beautiful felt roses to be added to a national art installation memorializing the lives lost in the U.S. to Covid-19.
Bring your supplies, a friend, a family member, a story and share a safe creative space with us.
Cards and roses can be mailed to Marked by COVID and Rose River Memorial separately after the workshop. Addresses will be provided during the event. Guests can continue to make cards and roses, pass along the mailing info and share with friends and family that want to participate and contribute.
