Join us for #FROGTOWN2020
As we navigate the new world of “shelter at home” and social distancing as a result of COVID-19, we at the Elysian Valley Arts Collective hope that you are all healthy and in good spirits.
To respect the health and safety of our creative community, the Elysian Valley Arts Collective regrets to inform everyone that we will be postponing the biennial Frogtown Artwalk to October 2021 due to the Covid-19 quarantine and the stay-at-home order in Los Angeles.
EVAC values our local creative community here in Elysian Valley, and the creative community at large. These are unsettling times for each of us, and many find ourselves in need. We are asked to stay isolated at home at a time where being together is needed more than ever.
In response, we have created an online initiative called "FROGTOWN 2020", a working collective archive of experiences and narratives expressed through the arts during the quarantine.

This will include an online gallery, virtual programming, art challenges, helpful information and resources intended to inspire, entertain and galvanize our community through art and creative self-expression. We want to hear from you and find out what you are doing during the quarantine. We will be posting call outs for art-related submissions, art project challenges, inspirational and informational photos and videos that we hope you will enjoy. We are also working with community partners on various programs that will support Elysian Valley residents. We whole-heartedly encourage you to participate, post your submissions and share our posts with friends and family.
Use our official hashtags #FROGTOWN2020 and #ARTUNITESFROGTOWN when posting your content. We look forward to seeing your submissions and hearing your stories about life during this unique time in our history.
