The Art of Frogtown

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the biennial Frogtown Artwalk has gone virtual with "The Art of Frogtown." Join us for a 3-day online event featuring exhibits, workshops, music, artist talks, kid's activities and more.

In conjunction with the virtual artwalk, the EVAC is sponsoring a Juried Art Show with a $500 Grand Prize and $150 prize for an Emerging Artist 18 & younger. Read more below for rules and how to submit.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Are you an artist interested in participating in the virtual artwalk? You must sign up as an Artist Member. See our artist member benefits and options here.

Are you a business or organization interested in sponsoring the virtual artwalk? Your sponsorship will help us make the artwalk a reality and will support our educational activities through the year. Explore our different sponsorship levels.

JURIED ART SHOW

EVAC is sponsoring a juried art show in conjunction with the virtual artwalk this year. We are asking artists to reflect on their own personal experiences to discuss and analyze the current moment, as they heal and look forward.

We invite you to create, share, and submit your art in any medium reflecting the theme "Resilience and Renewal," and portrays your individual experience of the pandemic.

PRIZE:

• Grand Prize: $500

• 4 runners up: $100

• Emerging Artist (18 and younger): $150

Rules to submit:

• 1 entry per artist

• JPG, PNG, TIFF, PDF accepted

• Max size 10MB

• Must live in Los Angeles

• Deadline to enter October 10th, 2020

When submitting your artwork, please include your name, title of your work, and contact info. If you are submitting for the Emerging Artist category, please state your age as well.
