I make sterling and fine silver jewelry using traditional fabrication techniques. I love the immediacy and permanence of silver – I can use simple tools like hammers to transform a plain sheet of metal into an object with form and volume, irreversibly changing its nature.
I have been working in silver for over 10 years and I’m constantly learning. Work with metal is exacting - and the level of focus required enables me to lose myself in the work. People often comment on how different my work with metal is from my ‘day job’ as a lawyer, but both involve a fair amount of problem solving.
My designs typically incorporate texture, asymmetry, and botanical elements. I strive to create work that clients will enjoy for many years and regard as an expression of their own aesthetic.
