Julie Williams

Julie Williams is a multidisciplinary artist with interests in sculpture, mosaic, public art, and collaborating with under-resourced communities. Her artwork often uses recycled materials to reinvent the familiar into new and inviting forms, playful mosaic jewelry and wall art. As a community teaching artist she seeks to build skills as well as community and connection.

Lotus Printworks

Hey there! My name is Natalie and I'm the artist behind Lotus Printworks. I create nature themed block prints with inspirations from my years of hiking, climbing, and travelling! You'll see a lot of Asian influence in my work as a reflection of my Chinese heritage. I'm so excited to be able to share my expression of the natural world with you! Arman Arami

My name is Arman Arami and I am a Los Angeles-based artist. I paint across a spectrum of mediums. My art serves as a profound reflection of my life-affirming passion and meticulous attention to detail. With a primary emphasis on conveying emotions, I intricately weave passion into each work through exquisite attention to fine details.

Pony Rose Pottery

Love playing with curves and glaze combinations. I throw primarily on the wheel except my hand-built dominoes! I really enjoy throwing big.

Patricia Rae

Patricia Rae is a fine artist and published children’s book illustrator, who specializes in watercolor and acrylic on canvas. Her paintings reflect her years as a Holistic Healer and Reiki Master, Specializing in Crystal healings. Many of her abstract pieces are infused with reiki energy and coincide with the healing themes of the 7 major chakras, expressed through color schemes, flow, textures, and movement.

Amanda Leigh Smith

Amanda Leigh Smith makes digital paintings, nature-focused paper cuts, murals, and more that encourage people to consider the urban-wildland interface of Southern California and its biodiversity. In 2021 she became a Certified California Naturalist and created losangelesisnotadesert.com, where her writing and art challenges stereotypes about nature within cities. Her work is inspired by LA’s unique seasons and her animal and plant neighbors. Amanda’s art has been featured at the Jacksonville Dance Theater’s In Here/ Out There: A Digital Dance Series, the LA River X Pop-Up Gallery, and America’s Great Outdoors at the LA County Fair.

Gabrielle Lessard

I make sterling and fine silver jewelry using traditional fabrication techniques. I love the immediacy and permanence of silver – I can use simple tools like hammers to transform a plain sheet of metal into an object with form and volume, irreversibly changing its nature.
I have been working in silver for over 10 years and I’m constantly learning. Work with metal is exacting - and the level of focus required enables me to lose myself in the work. People often comment on how different my work with metal is from my ‘day job’ as a lawyer, but both involve a fair amount of problem solving.
My designs typically incorporate texture, asymmetry, and botanical elements. I strive to create work that clients will enjoy for many years and regard as an expression of their own aesthetic.

Soo Jin King

Trying to find my way as a fine artist after a long career in the Animation industry. When I'm not painting or drawing I like to dabble in photography, spending time in nature, and writing my story.

Daniel Low

I grew up in Lancaster, California. I spent my time playing in the surrounding desert and loving the empty beauty the landscape provides. Accented by the most amazingly colorful sunsets and sunrises.
I am currently working as a studio lighting technician for IATSE local 728. I enjoy getting out to try and capture the wonder and splendor I feel every time I go out in mother nature.

A native of New Orleans, transplanting to L.A. to pursue a career in special effects in movies and TV, that was accomplished and so much more. With a background in engineering and art sculpture, achieving goals in multiple fields as Art director, product, prop and lighting design.

Ethan & Amanda Stern

Ethan and his wife, Amanda Stern, recently founded Studio Melt, an art studio and exhibition space in Frogtown, dedicated to creating community through glass art and design. They teach glassmaking, sculpture and design and their artworks are featured in various public and private collections. Alexis Krasilovsky

ALEXIS KRASILOVSKY recently moved from Echo Park to Frogtown. Originally from New York, Alexis began her filmmaking career with the film, “End of the Art World” (1971) featuring Andy Warhol, Bob Rauschenberg and Jasper Johns – recently restored through a National Film Preservation Foundation award to Yale Film Archives. She has traveled to twenty countries making and screening her global documentary features, “Women Behind the Camera” and “Let Them Eat Cake” – available for streaming with a public library card on Kanopy.com. Her work has been exhibited at the Georges Pompidou Center in Paris and the Museums of Modern Art in New York, Istanbul and Buenos Aires, as well as at poetry and film festivals around the world. Karen Pokraka

I've been painting and drawing for forever; 70's, 80's, 90's to the present. I love to draw people. My work ranges from plein air landscapes in oil to florals and street scenes in watercolor. Nana Chen

Nana Chen, a Taiwanese artist settled in Frog Town, Los Angeles, holds a Fine Art Master's degree from Kingston University in the UK. She was recognized as one of the international artists at the Royal College of Art in 2019. With diverse solo exhibitions in the UK, South Korea, and Taiwan, Nana excels in various media and is a talented floral artist with her own brand - Urbanbotany.

Educated in fine arts, Nana integrates her skills into a wide range of artworks, showcasing different expressions in each period. She enjoys the freedom of artistic expression, exploring forms that resonate with the public and serve as a means of communication. Her art spans from large-scale paintings and mobile installations to intricate handmade crafts, offering a multifaceted experience.

Marc Chiat

Marc Chiat is an artist working at his Frog town studio since 2010. On view there will be some recent paintings and drawings and some work in progress from his film "The history of the Universe from the beginning until Right Now".

Caleb Martin Ballard

Greetings! I have a LOT of colorful, emotive expressionist art in all sizes and at all prices. Find me at the Elysian Theater...Caleb Ballard is an American artist, writer and musician. A native Kentuckian who has lived in Los Angeles since 1986, Caleb is strongly influenced by Russian expressionism, magic realism, constructionism, American folk art, religious iconography, and the Joy of Cooking.
He paints in loose brushstrokes and eschews detail in favor of suggestive juxtaposition, with disparate visual narratives interleaving. Many suggest the aftermath of a high impact event, though it’s never clear whether the disturbance occurred in the material realm or in some ethereum. He took up painting 4 years ago and is preoccupied with the relationship between trauma and wonder.

Ed Houlemarde

I had a high school art teacher who told me to see the art in everyday things - That has been with me ever since. I create abstract, found object, assemblage and combines. I need color, texture and movement. My work is slowly becoming a stronger focus for me, as I near retirement I can grow as an artist and expand my creativity.

Erica Goebel
