Join your neighbors as we celebrate summer in Elysian Valley with a free community movie night. Bring your lawn chairs, your blankets and your pillows and settle in for a fun evening of films shown outside on an inflatable screen.

Join your neighbors as we celebrate summer in Elysian Valley with a free community movie night. Bring your lawn chairs, your blankets and your pillows and settle in for a fun evening of films shown outside on an inflatable screen. We'll be showing a short film made by students at Dorris Place Elementary along with our feature film, Grease!
Pack a picnic dinner for the family, and enjoy free popcorn, pizza and drinks for the first 100 people. Ham it up for the photo booth while you settle in. View elements of the students filmmaking process and meet our team!
Doors open at 6:00 pm.
Schedule:
6:30 - 7:00 – Short film "Sounds of Dorris Place", created by students at Dorris Place Elementary School.
7:00 – 9:00 – Grease
Grease is a 1978 American musical romantic comedy film that depicts the lives of greaser Danny Zuko and Australian transfer student Sandy Olsson, who develop an attraction for each other during a summer romance. The film stars John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John as Danny and Sandy.
Costumes & sing-a-longs welcome!!!
