The screenplay stalled somewhere in the second act—or needing a first act. And what about that memoir you started a while ago? Hey, 2021 is a new year! Why not get started (or get unstuck)? In this short but fully-loaded session, Rex will deliver practical tips on connecting with your original inspiration, how to locate your authentic voice and through-line, and get fired up to complete the work you’ve started within a deadline (setting a deadline—your first step!) Recommended for experienced, or beginning writers in all genres. Rex Weiner is an editor, journalist, stage/screen writer, and co-founder and executive director of the Todos Santos Writers Workshop. He hosts the author interview series I READ YOUR BOOK AND... based at Beyond Baroque, the LA literary center where he serves as a member of the Board of Trustees.
