About the Event
Printmaking is a vast and varied field that often involves special equipment or access to a studio, but block (or relief) printing is something that anyone can do from their own home. Through demonstration, this class will teach students beginning techniques for relief printmaking. We will go over tools needed and how to use them, transferring a drawing to a block, creating line and texture, and how to successfully pull a print at home.
