Frogtown Artwalk Sept. 22, 2018 -4469 sm

Picture by Javier De Leon from 2018 Frogtown Artwalk

The Elysian Valley Arts Collective announces their first-ever virtual Frogtown Artwalk taking place online October 16-18, 2020. The festival “The Art of Frogtown” recasts its focus on artists, businesses, residents and cultural art programming that have made Frogtown/Elysian Valley an enclave of vibrancy, ingenuity and creativity.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the biennial Frogtown Artwalk has gone virtual with "The Art of Frogtown." Join us for a 3-day online event featuring exhibits, workshops, music, artist talks, kid's activities and more. Find the upcoming schedule of events below.

The Frogtown Artwalk is our main fundraiser event that allows us to provide low-cost or free art programs for the youth and community of Elysian Valley.  By creating an artist profile, sponsoring the Artwalk, or donating, you directly give back our artist community.

Thank you all who have joined us on this virtual journey! We look forward to creating with you and cultivating an online presence for our artists.

Customarily, the Frogtown Artwalk takes places along the Los Angeles River, which acts as muse and backdrop to the festival. This year is no exception with our online festival "The Art of Frogtown," as the river figures prominently in the programming of the virtual event; with photography, poetry, art workshops and exhibits featuring the river and the natural habitat that surrounds it.

You will be able browse art from local artists, or catch a live event from the schedule below, all while celebrating the best of what Frogtown has to offer.
